For now I'd have to say ALONE -in life we have to have standards -settling for less then what you deserve is a behavior we have to experience a few times for experience purposes and then move on for Better!
When you are alone, you are forced to be self-sufficient and learn how to fulfill yourself.
When you settle for less, not only will you have to fulfill yourself most of the time (because settling rarely fulfills you all the way.. or else it wouldnt really be settling for less).. but you have to worry about fulfilling somebody else too.
Bad combo, because that means you usually are giving out more than you're getting back and over time that really, really, can wear you down..
It's so sad to me that so many people seem to be so focused on finding their "other half" that they fail to realize there's not really any good reason why they can't be their own "other half"..
