Happy New Years Bellas! I am blessed to see another year. I do not believe in making resolutions but I do believe in accomplishing all goals I set forth for the year! This past year was a hard one for me and very humbling to say the least. I jumped out the window and made some things happen and it turned out quite well for me. I encourage you to follow your dreams, support who supports you, Ignore negative people, and most importantly LOVE who loves you. I started to put my happiness first for a change and my life is changing dramatically. I wish you all much success, love, peace and sex lol.

I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Mecca of Pynk Magazine. We had a meeting while we were suppose to be bowling at friends Meeka and Speedy Claxton's house.  By the time I arrived, the business meeting had already started so I dived right in. I gave my input while also listening and taking in some new information. I learned quite a bit. My first impression of Meeca was very cool, down earth, about her business and knows her shit !  After spending some time with her I realized that she is vibrant, blunt, articulate, genuine, among other things. Needless to say I fell in love off the first meeting. Her vibe was that dope. She is a true La Bella Morenita .

What inspired you to start Pynk Magazine ? 

Pynk ! I have been a publicist for a lot of years, and after doing PR I went to Europe for a little to work on a project. I was over there for a little over a month. I usually go to Europe about 2 months out the year. Trace has a network out there and when I saw that I am like yo this is .....OK like they made a huge staple and now they have a huge network. I wanted to create something I felt that can live on way beyond the magazine. Something that can just keep going. I was already doing PR for Bleu Magazine. Devon and I already had a business relationship. On a personal level we are complete opposites lol. We were able to come together and partner up since there was already a relationship and from there Pynk was born.

I am starting a new segment where I showcase Business Woman/ Women their products and information about their company apart of my Girl Power Segment (stay tuned). The first woman I am going to show case is Danielle the owner of Simply Me Cupcakes. You guys know I have an obsession with Cupcakes. Simply Me Cupcakes was started in her home and since then she has been taking her company to the next level. Everything is made from scratch including her icing. For someone just starting out her presentation is actually better than most bakery's. I usually stick to Vanilla, Strawberry, Coconut, etc... Now someone who has me exploring my taste buds with different flavors (who does she think she is lol). I like how she always adds a little something extra on her cupcakes as far as decoration. When rating a cupcake, I first rate the icing it has to be sweet enough for milk but not diabetes lol. Then I rate the cake which is suppose to moist but not soggy and worst of all hard or bland! Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE eye shadow. I am mean absolutely LOVE eye shadow !!!! As of late I have been obsessed with an neutral eye using gold, bronze, brown, light peach etc.  So I want to add these products to my collection. The L'Oreal Infalliable eye shadow comes in a variety of colors and is said to last 24 hrs. The color gives you the perfect amount of shimmer without bombarding you with extra sparkles lol you guys know the only thing I like to sparkle is diamonds and my teeth HA !  It gives you an instant bright eye effect perfect for summer. The Chanel eye pencil looks amazing in the corners of your eye (well for me it does I need liner tho). Anything that makes my eyes pop I love it ! I have big beautiful eyes the is ones of my best assets the guys love it and the girls hate it ;op . 

Freeloaders * Everyone Knows One*

When I first started La Bella Morenita.com I made a decision to discuss real life topics that people go through everyday. I would like to think that I give you guys that ever so often. Now with that being said back to the topic at hand FREELOADERS ! Some people can agree agree that a favor done once in a while doesn't count as freeloading but when you take advantage of someone or people in your life your are a freeloader. If it isn't a even exchange or you are the primary beneficiary of said favor or goods this applies to you.  Here are a couple of examples why your are you freeloader :

• If you never contribute to a tab when out with friends or family (this means you are not intimate w/the friend) eating, drinking, shopping etc.
• If a bill comes and your food was $ 40 and you put exactly $40 w/o tax and tip
• If you are invited out and do not state that you are broke and expect others to cover your habits
• If you are invited to someones house for a game night, fight party, any type of gathering and you always come empty handed.
• If you borrow someones car and never put gas in it 
• If you are always known for this excuse "I only have my card"

The list goes on and on you get my drift. First off I do not care if you know a millionaire, or a hustler they work for their money either way so do not assume that it is always a free ride FOH ! That I do not have cash shit gets old as hell. I am about to start telling ninjas I accept all major credit cards and I have paypal, the look on the freeloaders face will be priceless. I do not expect a hand out from anyone not even my man. I have always carried my weight one way or another please believe that ! I find that this freeloading business is becoming significantly higher in men nowadays. It really is a shame that you want to hang out and be affiliated but do not want to contribute! This stems from your up bringing and your morals and principles. If that list applies to you grow up and stop being cheap or living above your means any of those options will do  !

I had the pleasure of tasting a new brand of vodka called Cavoda Vodka. Cavoda Vodka was started by Christopher Limauro, Milan Schwartz & Jack Vincent. Cavoda Pink is a mix of strawberry, raspberry, nordic berry, & pomegranate it delicately ignites the taste buds with a spark of unique flavor. Cavoda Vodka brings a provocative taste and finesse to even the most sophisticated palette. I have tired cavoda pink in a couple of different cocktails and I have enjoyed every combo, not only is it sweet and has an alluring bottle which lights up and it is smooth in taste which is a major plus because I am NOT a big drinker. La Bella Travel Guide : Turks & Caicos

 I have been to Turks and Caicos twice and with each experience I fall in Love all over again! Exceptional service and the locals are the sweetest people I have ever met . I always stay at the Gansevoort Hotel when I go to Turks. Trust I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island, not knocking anywhere else but once somewhere treats you like royalty you really don't want to look anywhere else. The Gansevoort is very up to date modern the food is great it is right on the beach everything is accessible. The staff is cool and professional we made a couple of friends on our first trip and when we returned the welcomed us again with even doper service (how can this be).  I went jet skiing , para sailing, sailing etc.. had a blast doing it all. I love the beach white sand, sultry turquoise waters. Beautiful skies nice breeze enticing sun my tan made me look extra sexy ;o).

Ever since last spring I wanted to go to the Museum of Sex I had planned a La Bella's Night Out but due to the inclimate weather we weren't able to attend. Since the weather has been descent here in NYC I decided I would take a trip down to the museum and see what it is about. Well I surely wasn't surprised I got to see some interesting things and learn a few tricks lol.  They had a cafe downstairs where you can grab a bite and get your drink on. I was surprised to learn that a lot of animals have sex same intercourse (yikes) so I guess it isn't just humans God created us all so it must have been in his plan no judegement.

 Recently I have been invited to different networking events some of them were actually networking events and the other half we just parties with people not networking at all lol. I have learned that some peoples idea of networking is partying and you end up leaving with the same contacts and information that you went to the event with. I hear this phrase "Your Network determines your Net Worth" As I am getting older I realize it is "Not what you know but who you know". In most cases that has been proven
