I had the pleasure of tasting a new brand of vodka called Cavoda Vodka. Cavoda Vodka was started by Christopher Limauro, Milan Schwartz & Jack Vincent. Cavoda Pink is a mix of strawberry, raspberry, nordic berry, & pomegranate it delicately ignites the taste buds with a spark of unique flavor. Cavoda Vodka brings a provocative taste and finesse to even the most sophisticated palette. I have tired cavoda pink in a couple of different cocktails and I have enjoyed every combo, not only is it sweet and has an alluring bottle which lights up and it is smooth in taste which is a major plus because I am NOT a big drinker. I recently tried a color gel manicure. I heard it lasts 2 weeks and I grew tired of getting my nails wraped. (it made my nails extremely weak and made them look ugly lol) So if you wear acriylic nails, uv nails/gel nails, silk wrap or overlay this cost either about the same or maybe even cheaper so in my opinion why not wear your own nails it will definitely keep your nails healthier and lasts about the same time so why not try it ?!  

What is Soak-off Gel Polish?

Unlike a traditional nail polish, soak-off gel polish is painted on with a brush and each layer is “cured” under a UV light to dry. Soak-off Gels come in a wide array of colors and finishes.

What are the benefits?

Dry time – The UV light dries the polish within minutes which means no dry time, no smudging, no dents. Talk about the perfect winter pedicure choice

Long lasting – Soak-off Gel lasts from 2-3 weeks with no chipping.

Less damaging – Unlike traditional enhancements you don’t have to fear the drills or filing down of your nails.

Works on natural nails – While you can add length if you choose, Soak-off Gel Polish can be used over a natural nail like traditional polish.

You can layer polish on top – If you want to change your color mid-manicure, you can. Paint right over Soak-Off Gel with regular nail polish and remove it with non-acetone remover.

What are the negatives?

Cost – Soak-off Gel Polish can only be applied by a professional and the service is more costly than a traditional manicure. If you are really skilled, you can buy a UV light and gel polish online but it’s not a cheap set-up.

Removal – If you want to change your color, you must completely remove the polish every time. You can either pay to have the polish professionally removed by soaking off the polish.

Nail growth shows – If you choose a dark, solid color, by week two, growth will be very apparent.

Time – Getting a Soak-off Gel manicure can take longer than a traditional manicure. Especially if you are getting a gradation, nail art or using a dark color. I’ve heard with the darker shades, you need quite a few coats to get it the right color.

Brands

Several brands make a soak-off product with a wide array of colors. The most talked about brands include Dashing Diva Gelife, Shellac and OPI Axxium.  They come in a range of colors and finishes including glitter. Axxium comes in 26 colors based on existing OPI polish shades including You Don’t Know Jacques, Russian Navy, I’m Not Really A Waitress, Lincoln Park After Dark and Bubble Bath.

As I was reading the other day I came across a website where you can design your own shoes. I was flabbergasted wondering how long has this site been around why am I just hearing about it?! But like with any good site it takes time to build a proper fan based then you get recognized. So here is how it works :

You choose a shoe style anything from Pump to Open Toe Sandal then you chose heel height, width, material of shoe etc. They have everything from leather, snake skin to faux leather . I think it is a pretty reasonable offer to design your own shoes $245 for just leather price depends on what you design. I think this is phenomenal now you can actually say you are getting what you pay for not one of many but something that is custom fit. I love Aveda products actually I swear by them it is natural and not tested on animals. Aveda has about 4 different skin care lines. My preference is the Outer Peace Line more for sensitive skin types. I use the whole Line the Foam Cleaner, The Blemish Relief Lotion, The Blemish Spot Treatment, but most of all I LOVE the Blemish Relief Pads. These pads have become more popular over the years because I just waited 5 months to buy them, they were on back order (where they do that at).  the Line retails from 25- 35 dollars. I think it is well worth it.

The other day I had a meeting in my Manhattan and my phone was going dead, after that met up with .........(who should forever remain nameless) lol and I said yo my bateria is negativo, they replied mine as well. So I try this restaurant the other usually I only recommend places that I have been to but I read about and the dishes seem delightful so i decided to posted it anyway. On Tuesday I met up with a friend of mine and we decided (well I decided) we will grab a bite to there. The waiter was very attentive without being over baring.the dishes that he recommended sound good my friend try both dishes (greedy lol). I loved my Paella it was very good and spicy (just the way I like it). Also I asked for a drink (Those who know me have the bbm shock face lol) , the waiter recommended one came back with this milky looking drink that was soooooooo good I ordered another one. My overall experience was a pleasant one. The ambiance was great perfect lighting if you are on a date. The only thing is it isn't very spacious but I think that is what I like about it lol. :oT

I didn't like Mexican food until I tried this restaurant.  If had to classify Crema's menu I would say Mexican Fusion. The food is well seasoned, right in the middle of mild and spicy, cooked to perfection. The decor is simple chic,  the restaurant itself is small but yet intimate. Perfect of a date or just relaxing and having girl talk. My first experience with Crema is when my home girl put me on. I met her and a co-worker for a light dinner after work. My second experience was when Brooke had the duck which btw was impeccable (and I had never tried duck before). Ummm memories (ok I'm getting hungry)
